My Background
It's been over 45 years that art took over my life. I'm a performing artist as well as a visual artist. After receiving my BFA from UWG, I continued my quest to become an entertainer professionally on stage and Screen in NYC. I toured in musicals to Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Japan, and all over the USA. I enjoyed acting in television and film as well. New York gave me an unlimited amount of chances to use every bit of my talent to create anything and everything I so desired.
I have shown my art in various galleries in Georgia, New York, and Arizona over the years and continue to do so.

I designed and handmade all of my products, so it has to be fun to do. Wall art and wearables are just a few ways to use my art. Not only do I work with watercolors and acrylic, but my mediums of choice right now are glass beads and yarn. I hope you will enjoy my handmade hair accessories and hats, and wall decor for living rooms. My ideas come from my own personal needs, so it's only fare that I share with those who need them as well. Yarn brings warmth and cozy feelings, beads add sparkle and shine, and paint enhances the moods of life. I love to make you feel something special when you look at my work. Imagine what it will be like when you wear my work.

Growing up with talented people in my family and witnessing how they had to settle for a 9 to 5 instead of going for their dreams, taught me to be fearless. I utilized every talent that God gave me, and my life has been the better for it. My Uncle Larry was a multitalented comical angel who made me believe that I could be anything I wanted to be. He was my biggest fan and motivator. He was the one who taught me how to crochet and knit. My Uncle Steve taught me how to sing, and my Uncle Hayward taught me how to dance and love all kinds of music.
My mom gave me my first paint set and she taught me how to sew. My grandma taught me how to nurture and heal others.
My ancestors keep me going. They continue to guide me to victory everyday.
